Introduction

Contest Period

The contest begins on November 14, 2023 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on December 15, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older who have an active policy through Kickstand Insurance.

How to Enter

Write a short statement on why you enjoy working with Kickstand Insurance.

Submit your entry via email to contest@kickstandinsurance.com or as a comment on our official contest posts on social media.

Rights to Entries

By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that your submission may be used by Kickstand Insurance in future promotional materials, marketing campaigns, or any other content.

Entry Limitations

Limit one entry per person. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Entries must be the entrant's original work.

Selection of Winner

A winner will be chosen by the Kickstand team based on the enthusiasm and authenticity of the entry.

Prize

One winner will receive a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted, except at Kickstand Insurance's discretion.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified within five (5) days following the selection and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize.

Acceptance of Rules

By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions and the decisions of Kickstand Insurance, which are final and binding.

General Conditions

Kickstand Insurance reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if any problem prevents the contest from being conducted as planned.

Eligibility: The “Gearing up for 2024” Contest (the "Contest") is open only to those who are 18 years of age as of the date of entry. The Contest is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Contest is only open to those who work with a business that has Kickstand Insurance as the agent of record on an active insurance policy. Employees of Kickstand Insurance (the “Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Kickstand Insurance as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Contest.
Contest Period: Entries will be accepted online from November 14, 2023 at 12:00 AM EST until December 15, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.
How to Enter: The Contest can be entered by submitting an entry via email to contest@kickstandinsurance.com or by commenting on the official Contest post on Kickstand Insurance's LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook pages. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete, or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Kickstand Insurance. You are allowed a single entry regardless of the method used to submit. Multiple entries across various platforms or duplicate emails from the same person will result in disqualification of all submissions from that individual.
Prizes: The Winner(s) of the Contest (the “Winner”) will receive a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Kickstand Insurance. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Kickstand Insurance's discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Kickstand Insurance to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by a panel of judges under the supervision of Kickstand Insurance. Winner will be notified by email within five (5) days following selection of Winner. Kickstand Insurance shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 48 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.
Rights Granted by Participant: By submitting your entry, you grant Kickstand Insurance the perpetual, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your submission, in whole or in part, for promotional or marketing purposes, in any media now or later developed. This includes, without limitation, the right to use your name, likeness, and any other personal attributes as contained in the entry. You affirm that you are the sole author of the entry, it is an original work, and does not infringe on the rights of any third parties.
